5/23/09 MILLS PLACES 6 AT PAL FINALS!
The Vikings traveled to Woodside High School to compete in the Peninsual Athletic League Finals today. Eight athletes, the most of any school in the PAL, showed up to fight for a spot in the CCS Tournament.
Girl's singles Jessica Wong, Jr., and Jessica Chang, Jr., placed top in the tournament placing first and second.
Boys doubles pairs Perry Li, Jr., and Kyle Tseng, So, placed first remainging undefeated in post season play. Teammates Donald Leon, Sr., and Eric Lai, Sr., met Li and Tseng in the championship match and placed second.
The Vikings walked away with four gold medals and two silver medals proving thier depth as a team.
With the wins the Vikings will move on to play at the CCS Tournament in Cupertino next week. Players will be seeded Monday evening.
